after dark

belonging

and

the new

After Dark is a deep dive into what happened to London's nightlife and why it no longer feels the same. Through surveys, interviews with industry professionals, and my own photography shot across spaces from Fabric to Drumsheds to Dalston Underground, I built a case for how belonging in the scene is fractured; replaced by hierarchy, image, and performance. The research confirmed what I had been watching from the inside: the shift wasn't just a vibe change but a structural misalignment. From marketing to consumer there was a direct disconnect between what audiences are crying out for and what is being delivered to them.
